12th Company Boys’ Brigade

We help the ACS boys in Primary,

Secondary and Post-Secondary

Schools grow physically, socially,

educationally and spiritually through

this special activity-filled CCA.

84th Singapore Company Girls’

Brigade

We serve the girls in Singapore

Chinese Girls’ School by encourag-

ing them to grow Physically, Educa-

tionally, Socially and Spiritually

through exciting activities and aim to

make every girl a leader.

ACS Oldham Hall

– The Boarding School

We provide a safe & secure environ-

ment as well as pastoral care for our

boarders, who come from countries

like China, India, Indonesia,

Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, etc.

We are looking for volunteers to

befriend our boarders, conduct

enrichment programmes and assist in

coaching in life-skills.

As a boarding school with mostly

foreign students boarding with us

and located just next door to BRMC,

we would welcome local integration

for our boarders with BRMC mem-

bers.

Care-Force Ministry

Church volunteers visit the elderly,

the hospitalized, the homebound,

and the bereaving because of age,

disability or loss. Volunteers do

reach out to the mentally infirmed

patients by conducting regular

Christian fellowships on Friday

evenings, the 3rd week of every

month @ Sun-Love Home.

Church School Ministry

(Sunday School)

Our toddlers, children and youth (18

months -18 years old) meet every

Sunday at 8.30am, 10.30am & 5pm

(except for Holy Communion Ser-

vice on the first Sunday of the

month) for worship, fellowship and

Bible-based teaching. Sunday School

also organizes weekly Youth Small

Group meetings (for ages 13-18) on

Friday evenings 7.45-10pm.

Counseling Services

The Church provides counseling

services, through professional

counselors, to individuals, couples

and families in need of support &

guidance.

Creative Arts Ministry

We share the Word and Message of

God through music, songs, dance

and drama. We meet every Tuesday

from 8pm to 10pm at Wesley Hall,

for Bible study & prayers, followed

by Scriptures in Dance and Move-

ments practices. You can join us for

regular weekly prayer and practice

session or for workshops and special

events.

Discipleship & Nurture

There are courses on various aspects

of Christian growth and discipleship.

These include:

•Trek Thru The Bible (studies of

books in the Bible)

•DISCIPLE (comprehensive Bible

studies which aim at transformation)

•Growing Deep in Christ (basic

teachings of spiritual disciplines for

personal growth)

•Serving with Joy (discovery of spir-

itual gifts)

•Talks/seminars on Christian

Education and Christian living

•CHRISTIAN BELIEVER (a 30-

week course to deepen your under-

standing of our Christian doctrines

and teachings. Suitable for growing

and mature believers)

Floral Decorations

We accept gifts for the floral

decorations of the weekly Sunday

worship services.

and ushers are stationed at Sunday

Services to welcome all.

Marriage

We conduct courses to prepare you

for marriage. Marriage Enrichment

Retreats are also held annually for

those already married, and seeking

enrichment in their relationship.

We have CDs’ of the sermons

preached at Sunday Services and

other selected meetings.

Information Desk on Sundays or call

You can volunteer as crew members

in our main worship services, to

Men’s Ministry

Emmaus Walk Men’s Fellowship

(E-walk) meets every Saturday

6.30am @ Wesley Hall. It is an oasis

of encouragement and a refuge for

men to build a strong community of

godly men who will rise up to the

challenge of God’s call to be better

men, better husbands, fathers and

truly men after God’s own heart.

MCYC-Community Services

Society (MCYC-CSS)

This is our social outreach work for

children, youth and their families. It

is a well established and recognized

agency in the social work sector in

Singapore and its work has expanded

beyond Bukit Batok.

Missions

We actively facilitate awareness and

involvement of missions through

short-term exposure trips; raising

and supporting full time missionaries

and church planting in different

countries.

Our countries of focus are

Cambodia, East Asia, India,

Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar &

Nepal.

Mothers’ Ministry

The Heart2Heart Mothers’

Fellowship meets every other

Friday during the local school term

to nurture, support and encourage

mothers to build godly homes.

Outreach & Social Concerns

Our mission is to carry out gentle

Christian Outreach by providing

financial assistance to needy

individuals and families. We provide

monthly cheques to needy

individuals; educational bursaries to

needy students; financial, emotional

and spiritual support to a group of

individuals with HIV; and weekly

Christian messages to a group of

individuals at the St Luke’s

Eldercare Whampoa Centre. Several

events are organized during the year

to share the message of God’s grace.

Pastoral Ministry

The Pastors & theologically trained

Lay Ministry Staff, together with

Lay Professional Staff provide

comprehensive pastoral ministry to

individuals, groups & families in

need of spiritual care & guidance,

counseling, prayer support, and faith

seeking understanding through

Biblical preaching & teaching

ministry.

Prison Ministry

Thru-Care volunteers’ minister to

prisoners through regular prison

visits, chapel services and Bible

studies. We network with Prison

Fellowship Singapore & others for

the rehabilitation & Christ-centered

transformation of prisoners,

discharged prisoners & their families

through various types of counseling

services.

Prayer & Praise Service

We are a teaching ministry that

seeks to equip believers to live a

dynamic life in the Spirit, including

the exercising of spiritual gifts.

Join us every Friday (except last

Friday of the month) at 8pm in

Wesley Hall.

• Ablaze Gathering

Every last Friday of each month @

8pm in the Sanctuary, as members &

leaders prays for the church & na-

tion.

Also look out for our regular equip-

ping courses such as Prayer 101 in

the church bulletin.

• Monthly Church Prayer Watch for

BRMC

Led by Upper Room Service, church

members and leaders gather every

1st Friday of the month from 8pm to

10pm to worship & seek the Lord

and to pray & intercede His heart-

beat for His Beloved, His Church

and the Nations. They meet in Prayer

Rooms next to BRMC Sanctuary.

School Ministry

We actively build on our special

bond with ACS (Primary), ACS

(Barker Road) and ACS

(International) with spiritual

guidance and pastoral care to their

staff and students. These include

Chapel Services, Devotions in the

morning Assembly, Evangelistic

efforts, running the Christian Society

and Praize Club as School CCAS,

Pastoral care and development

lessons, counseling for students

and other Pastoral related programs.

Seniors’ Fellowship

(Glowing Years Ministry)

GYM is for all seniors 45 years &

above. Bible studies are conducted

every 1st and 3rd Sundays of the

month, 10.30-11.30am & every Sat-

urday morning, except the fourth

Saturday, 10.30-12.00 noon; Social

gatherings are every 4th Saturday of

the month, with evergreen songs of

yesteryears, lively line dancing &

absorbing board games; visits to

GYM members under the banner

‘Heart For Our Own’.

Small Group Ministry

Development of community life at

BRMC for all age groups, including

intergenerational groups, through

Bible study, fellowship, prayer

support and service to the

community. Our Small Groups

meet in various locations and at

various times of the week.

Witness & Evangelism

Equipping members & friends of the

Church to witness through lifestyle

relational evangelism, organize

outreach evangelism seminars and

workshops and run Alpha Courses

twice a year. W&E also organizes

the Newcomers’ Lunch twice a year

for all new visitors.

Women’s Society of Christian

Service (WSCS)

We organize programmes for ladies

of all ages: weekly Bible studies,

annual retreats, regular book studies

and fellowship meetings. The Lois &

Eunice Ministry is for parenting

seminars, the GEMS Fellowship for

sharing of skills in cooking and arts

& craft, the Cradle Roll is an out-

reach to new mothers. GOD@Work

is a fellowship of working women to

impact the workplace for Jesus.

Worship & Music

The Worship & Music ministry

coordinates and facilitates the

smooth conduct of worship services

so that every worshipper may

experience the presence of God,

encounter Him personally and be

transformed to live as a disciple of

Jesus Christ in every aspect of his/

her life.

Young Adults Ministry (YAM)

YAM is committed to REACH OUT

to every young adult in BRMC

between the ages of 19-30, BUILD

UP our community of young adults

by offering various learning

platforms such as cell groups, and

bi-monthly large groups meetings,

and SEND FORTH practicing Christ

-centered young adults into the

marketplace and mainstream church

life.
