Alhamdulillah! We had an awesome few weeks in school. Learners are settled in class. Quraan recitation, 99 Names and Ahadeeth resonates so vibrantly in the halls of HMA! SubhanAllah!

Our learner’s are so engrossed in reading their

durood with their colorful tasbeeh counters. We

have 2 weeks remaining for this challenge; however

we make duaa that the essence and spirit of reciting

durood remains in our learners and ourselves

forever.

Parents please support this challenge by participating as well as reminding your kids to carry

their counters all the time! May Allah reward you for your efforts in motivating your children

with an Islamic nurturing and refinement.

Nabi (SAW) has said: “He who reads a single durood upon me, Almighty Allah blesses him 10 times, 10 of his sins are forgiven and he is increased 10 times in stages.” (Hadeeth)

It’s already that time of the term again…!!! Each learner has a copy in their homework book of an Assessment Time table & Assessment Content Page. Please have a look and sign! We are

doing revision daily to ensure our learners are fully prepared for the assessments. So Just Keep Calm and relax…!

QIRAAT COMPETITION 6th ANNUAL GIRLS AND WOMEN’S QIRAAT JALSA 2017

This event is held to commemorate Doctor, Haafidha and Aalima Aafia Siddiqui’s vision of living and loving the Qur’an e Kareem. It aims to inspire all generations of women to make the Qur’an the centre of their lives, Insha Allah.

Our school is invited to participate by submitting ONE entrant from our institution.

Day and date : Sunday, 7th May 2017

Venue : Nur-ul- Islam Hall, Giraffe Ave, Ext 5, Lenasia

Salaamedia and Salaam Foundation's Azhar Vadi will be riding

3000km on a bicycle across South Africa, in a test of human

endurance to help support impoverished kids through their early

years of education.

HMA was honored to be visited by Azhar Vadi and his two crew members of “Salaamedia”. He addressed learners on the Astro turf about their initiative. Learners were moved by this inspiring initiative and also asked many interesting questions. HMA’s Mufti Zaid Minty was thereafter interviewed live on Salaamedia by Brother Ebrahim Gangat.

WHAT ARE WE CURRENTLY LEARNING @ HMA?

GRADE R: Learner’s are thoroughly enjoying IPAD lessons.

GRADE 1: Learner’s having fun with the Arabic Alphabets in Quraan and enjoying all the stories in History, Aqaa’id & Akhlaaq.

GRADE 2: Learner’s getting the hang of the “TASHDEED” also called “SUPER GLUE”.

GRADE 3: Surah Humazah and Duaa after Athaan will soon reach culmination. Wudhu

is being learnt and will soon be done by learners practically.

GRADE 4: Quraan fluency has improved significantly and duaa-e-qunoot is about to be

completed.

GRADE 5: MashaAllah! Learners have commenced with “Big Quraan” 6th

Para….

and Surah Bayyinah is halfway completed very proficiently.
