The three-day Knowledge Sharing Meeting gives participants the opportunity to engage in interactive sessions togain increased awareness of common and unique challenges faced by development and emergencyimplementers in Asia; explore synergies; and identify ways in which we can work together. Event Recap: The TOPS Program and USAID's Office of Food for PeaceRecently Convened Partners for M&E In early August, The TOPS Program, in collaboration with USAID's Office of Food for Peace (FFP), hosted twosuccessful monitoring and evaluation (M&E) workshops bringing together field M&E practitioners, headquarterM&E advisors, FFP M&E staff, and USAID Food Security Specialists. The 33 participants represented 11organizations, 14 development food security activities (DFSAs), and five FFP priority countries. During the eightdays, participants shared practices and learned new skills related to routine monitoring approaches, participantbased survey (PaBS) sampling; sampling qualitative methods and data in FPP annual monitoring, and theory of

change annual reviews. Participants greatly valued the "open environment forquestions and participation", the "well-chosen, relevant topics",and the "detailed discussion of all topics". When asked whatthey intended to do differently as a result of the workshop,responsesincluded:
