I am delighted to include this report of sporting success from one ofour parents Karen Champion Wahroonga Public School recentlyentered a tennis team into the Pennant Hills Schoolboys andSchoolgirls Competition held in November There were 101 schoolsentered into this competition and each school took part in singlesdoubles and mixed doubles events Our team of four Nick JamesElyana and Georgia played some really fantastic tennis and finishedin 3rd place overall which is a great achievement We reached thesemishyfinals in each event entered with Georgia winning the 10 yeargirls singles competition and Elyana and Georgia winning the Year 5girls doubles event Congratulations to all four players

Passing on the BushSchool Spirit

On Wednesday afternoon ourKindergarten children werepresented with a small tree from ouroutgoing Year 6 students Thistradition involves the ldquopassing on ofthe Bush School spiritrdquo

Many Year 6 students rememberreceiving their tree back inKindergarten saying their tree is stillgrowing strongly in the garden athome

One student shared how theirs hadto be transplanted when thefamily moved house
