We are enforcing our safety message of no hat, play in the shade. We no longer have a hat borrowing

system, for obvious hygienic reasons, so kids without broad brimmed hats are directed to play under the COLA, in the library or in the computer room. You can still purchase hats from the clothing pool if needed.

The clothing pool is open on a Tuesday morning from 8.30am. All students playing PSSA on a Fridaymorning must wear a broad brimmed hat. Year 6 Aboriginal Transition Day

Jump Rope

A fantastic day was had by all last term when all children participated in our jump off day. It was great to see everyone having a great time and getting fitter in the process (especially Mrs Bradshaw!!) I was so impressed with the behaviour on the day. We have raised $1360.10 for heart research and the Heart Foundation which is a wonderful effort from a small school. Well done everyone and thank you to everyone who sponsored a skipper. Our top 3 sponsorship getters were Oliver Langford, Angus McMaster and Claire Kronsteiner. Thanks to all the

ther children for raising money your prizes will arrive shortly. (I hope!!)

oftball / Teeball News- Round On

o S e Tee Ball Our tee ball team had a bye last week.

Soft Ball The soft ball team played North Albury and lost 12 to 9 in a very close game. This was an excellent performance by our team as we only had seven players. Maddy Deal batted well and Olivia Sadowsky pitched well. Alishia Theunissen showed initiative and leadership in the field and Tiarna Whybrow played well as catcher. A pleasing feature of the game wasthe thoughtful base sneaking of our players.
