GUIDANCE DEPARTMENT

Guidance Department

• Our overall budget increase in the Guidance Department is 2.6%.

• Over the past two years, additional funds have been allocated for counselors to visit and tour colleges and to provide information on our school and our students to college admissions professionals.

• In addition, funds have been allocated to conduct alumni surveys. We have contracted with a company that has been conducting surveys since 1984. The information collected in this research will help inform administrative decisions and future planning.

INTERSCHOLASTIC ATHLETICS

Expand Sports and Extra-curricular Opportunities

Introduce additional sports, coaches Modified Boys Lacrosse:

Community and student interest very high

Girls soccer move to the fall and new facilities have provided sufficient field space to conduct a boys and girls program

• Increase Athletic Trainer from 3 to 5 days weekly (2:20 – 7:00 p.m. daily)

– Manage fitness center: 2.20 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

– Availability for all students increases after school hours on a daily basis

– Supervise weekend football games
