FINANCIAL PEACE UNIVERSITY (FPU)Financial Peace University (FPU) is a life-changing program that teaches you how to make the right decisions with your money. You’ll be empowered with the practical skills and confidence needed to achieve your financial goals and experience true financial peace.

Each of the 9 lessons deals with a different topic that will change the way you think about personal finance. Learn how to save money, live on a budget, communicate about money, eliminate debt, find bargains and experience the joy of giving.

Over 1 million families, nationally, have completed FPU, and here at the Vineyard, over 2,750 people have benefited from the lessons taught in the FPU classes.

The small group discussions in class encourage accountability and discipleship, and can be effec-tive in changing money habits.

WHO • Those looking to take control of their money, eliminate debt and invest for the future.

WHERE • The Healing Center Auditorium.

WHEN • Classes will meet every Wednesday starting June 10 (with a skipped week June 24 for our all-church Summer of Service event) and end August 19. An optional Budget Workshop will be offered on July 15.

COST • A Financial Peace University Membership Kit may be purchased at our website or at the door the first night of class for $99. One kit per person, family or engaged couple is required to attend the class. Upgrade kits are available for $49 to those that have previously taken FPU.

Whatthey’resaying...

This class has totally changed my life financially and spiritually. I’ve become totally empowered and confident with my life choices! —Jeff

This class made us ‘keep it real’ about money, and our communication in all areas has drastically improved.

I have much more daily peace now! I don’t feel so stuck on money; I feel more like a steward—not a slave!”

DOING BUSINESS WITH GOD—Rick WarrenEach one of us was born with gifts, abilities and strengths to assist us in fulfilling a God-given purpose. It’s our responsibility to learn what our strengths are...and how to use them.

Together we’ll discuss how to discover our real strengths and purpose in our work. This 5-week class will challenge the way you think about your job, your career, and your work in general.

You’ll learn how to find your best career fit, maxi-mize your job, and be more creative and successful at work.

WHO • Those seeking to understand how their strengths relate to God’s purpose in and outside of their work.

WHEN • Thursdays, July 9 through August 6, 7–9pm (5 weeks).

WHERE • Vineyard Cincinnati (Tri-County) in the Office Building/Resource Center.

COST • Class handouts are $5.

CHILDCARE • $5 for one child. $10 for two or more. Register for childcare online when you register for the class.

Whatthey’resaying...

This class was an invaluable experience in my personal, professional and spiritual development. I will undoubt-edly use, reference and rely on the spiritual tenets taught in the class for the rest of my life....both in and out of the workplace. —Jeff

In a world where a job or career is simply a paycheck, this class gives a refreshing view that things don’t have to be that way. God gave us different gifts to be used and celebrated. If your current job is not utilizing them, take this class!”

We’ll spend one-third of our life working. Don’t you think God wants us to make the most of it?

7 5

TIME OF YOUR LIFE —Andy StanleyMost of us probably get that our time is a limited resource. We’re forced to spend it, whether we choose to or not, at a fixed rate of 60 seconds every minute! But, time is also a valuable asset. We wear watches, we glance at the clock so we don’t lose track of time. Yet there’s something more important than knowing what time it is...it’s knowing what to do with the time we have!

This class will include teaching and discussion about the biblical basis for treating our time as a gift from God. We’ll also explore questions such as: Where did all the time go? Does time really fly when you’re having fun?

WHO • For those who want to embrace a biblical approach to how we spend our days, and learn how to make space for God.

WHEN • Wednesdays, July 15 through August 12, 7–9pm (5 weeks).

WHERE • Vineyard Cincinnati (Tri-County) in the Office Building/Resource Center.

COST • Class handouts are $5.

CHILDCARE • $5 for one child, $10 for two or more. Register for childcare online when

Whatthey’resaying...

Excellent course! I can clearly see what God is showing me about my current state of affairs and how I spend my time. It will change my family’s life and, in turn, change my heritage and theirs. —Donna

This class has given me a much broader, deeper perspective on how I spend my time. It is not about time management, but more about seeing time from God’s perspective and learning to be purposeful about how I spend my time, with whom I spend it, and knowing that my days are numbered. —Jana
