JERI HARRINGTON—12 YEARS OF SERVICE Jeri Harrington, Judson’s office manager died April 6th as a result of a car accident. Jeri served Camp Judson as for the last 12 years. She was the first voice heard when people called camp, and her caring, faithful presence and abiding friendship made the job of both Managing Directors (Ken Thompson and Kevin Saxton) under who she served with much easier and enjoyable. Even though she enjoyed the quiet of the office in the fall, she loved the hundreds of summer staff and campers who came to Judson over her years here. She will be sorely missed, but we look forward to the great reunion that is to come in the presence of Jesus. Thank you to everyone who has remembered us in prayer and expressed their willingness to help in the last few weeks.

ALUMNI WORK WEEK Come May 21—25 to rekindle old friendships, make new ones, and enjoy the company of other Judson alums while helping to accomplish a wide variety of maintenance and improvement tasks for the camp. We will have morning devotions at breakfast and evening campfire vespers. If you can’t stay the whole time, feel free to come for a day, or even an hour or two.

Contact your Judson pals from back in the day and invite them to join you. To find our more information contact the office at (814) 922-3834 or [email protected].

HOMESCHOOL EVENTS Join us to kick off the school year with a day of fun and learn-ing at Camp Judson. This day will run from 10:30 AM until 3:45 PM and the cost will be $6 per person (ages 0-4 are free) this includes a lunch. The Kick-off Day will be Tuesday, August 15th, 2017.

Additionally, Camp Judson will hold a series of fun and educa-tional outings that will be unique homeschool adventures on the first Tuesday of every month. Each day will run from 10:30 AM until 3:15 PM and the cost will vary depending on activities being offered and materials for that day. Activities may include: swimming, archery, outdoor education, archeol-ogy, climbing, art, sports and Bible.

For more information or to register visit campjudson.com.

JUDSON DAY OFFERING This year’s Judson Day Offering is going to be designated to our First Impressions Initiative to address issues like carpeting in the lodge and dining hall, painting various buildings, and a variety of other minor repairs that each would help us to make a more positive first impression on our campers and guests.

We have set a fundraising goal of $5,000 and we are hoping to complete as many projects as possible by the start of summer camp. Donations designated to First Impressions can be given through your local church, at www.campjudson.com, or by mailing a check to Camp Judson, Attn: First Impressions, 398 Holliday Road, North Springfield, PA 16430.

We are also seeking volunteers to help us with a number of First Impressions projects. If you would like to participate, e-mail [email protected] or call (814) 922-3834.

THANK YOU so much for your generosity and support! We can’t do what we do without friends like you!

In January, we launched our 2017 Prayer Initiative where we are inviting all of our friends and partners elevate the role of prayer in our lives by doing two things: 1) Commit yourself to spending 15 minutes in prayer each day. During that time, we invite you to pray for ourselves, our families and friends, our churches and communities, and for Camp Judson. 2) Invite 5 additional people to do the same. While we would love for this to result in an increase in the number of people regularly, praying for Judson, it is our hope that its greatest impact will be to deepen the importance of the habit of regular prayer in the lives of our friends, alumni, and partner churches. To facilitate this, we are offering weekly video prayer devotions via e-mail (sign up at www.campjudson.com) and social media. Here are some specific ways you can be in prayer for Camp Judson: Summer Camp 2017
