Summer Camp is where it starts

• Attending a summer camp at one of the partner colleges is the start of some great things.

• These colleges have come together with El Pomar Foundation to give you great options for next summer and beyond…

What is El Pomar?

• A Colorado-focused foundation with assets valued at over $500,000,000.

• Founded in 1937 by Spencer & Julie Penrose of Colorado Springs.

• El Pomar’s specific purpose - serving the needs of Colorado residents in innovative and meaningful ways.

• Regional Councils create new opportunities focused on issues that can impact local communities.... Like ours!

Reach Your Peak Colorado• El Pomar Foundation’s Northwest Regional Council

initiated the Reach Your Peak Colorado program to:

• Involve students in summer activities that are both fun and educational,

• Lead them to future learning options in high school, and

• Provide scholarships to help them attend one of the partner colleges.

How Reach Your Peak Works1. Attend summer camp this year

2. Attend summer camp next year: here or at one of the partner colleges.

3. Take college courses in high school through dual credit/concurrent enrollment.

4. Earn a Reach Your Peak scholarship to use at one of the partner colleges after you graduate.
