Along with working with your own dog we will be introducing our clicker zoo giving you the unique opportunity to work with other Interesting animals which will really hone your clicker skills. Space Limited IABTC Certified C&T Awards There is a theory sections attached to all awards IABTC C&T 1 Looks at the basic use of the clicker and target training—your ability to time your clicks ac- curately and effectively, shape desired behaviours, free shape, put behaviours under cue, ex- tend the duration of behaviours, use target objects, select, handle and deliver rewards well. IABTC C&T2 Looks at developing and using more complex behaviours, chaining, back chaining, generali- sation, shaping with luring, changing cues, transferring targets, fading cues IABTC C&T3 Looks at handler ability to analyse behaviour patterns and the construction of exercises or tests, to use the system to develop behaviour chains of increasing complexity, to reduce com- plex chains to one cue, free shape complex behaviour chains. IABTC C&T4 (candidates must have C&T1-3 and IABTC Instructor Status) This level looks at the candidates ability to instruct individuals and small groups in the art and science of clicker and target training. Including developing your ability to teach others and guide them through the structure of exercises, timing, etc., as above and will require you to demonstrate your assessing skills, to identify if learning is taking place, to develop new exer- cises and challenges, making classes interesting and motivational for both dog and handler. Venue - We have both indoor and outdoor facilities – the purpose built training hall is large and carpeted. Outside there is a flat field with rings set up and lots of space for dog walking. Parking is spacious on a well drained field. Domestics Tea, coffee biscuits will be supplied, but you will need to bring a packed lunch (there are no nearby shops!) Times Training session – doors open from 9.30 am - training from 10.00 am – 4.00pm (ish) Costs and How To Apply Handler & Dog— £299 including C&T materials and assessment. IABTC Certified C&T Awards

IABTC C&T 1
