With all your words my skin fills out

to gain its true-bond weight

In summer tones you're sketching me

my naked life your easel.

and the Centaurs are still.

In the shallows the Nereids

are playing and here

is your Conch.

Come, be the Song.

Let the night take the sun

we have so very far

to swim.

Watching the cloud-layers

slide across each other,

I'm reminded of

having sex.

I don't know why

at 30 000 feet I am

reminded of sex

but strongly reminded

I am.

Even more unclearly

I'm enjoying the clouds

the thoughts

and being reminded.

I hope my girlfriend's waiting.

In the cold river of the night

her body is a forge

In her hands are small caresses

shaping out my face

She takes the stone from in my breast

and hammers me a heart

to give it back grown triplefold

a shield to bear her life.

The stars rain quiet, their distance

a snow through the trees.

Walk into my eyes and away.

the seasons turn

taste the winds flow by.

and in every river-stone

and autumn-leaf

I write your name

with my actions.

So I ask the hardest thing -

that you say yes.
