One-pot preparation of surface-controlled polymer particles.

Although surface structure of polymer particles is of great importance for a precise application

such as an immnoassay procedure, formation mechanism of the surface remains unclear. We

focus on control of molecular weight and surface density of functional polymers grafted on the

polymer particles, which are prepared in one step by dispersion polymerization.
