Welcome tohe third Summer in the city summer supplement

is brochure is designed to introduce you to some of the family friendly a ctivities available across the city over the summer months.

hen the sun shines and the school holidays approach, thoughts for many of us turn to thinking how best to make the most of summer

nd leisure centres have put together a fantastic programme of family fun sessions, lessons and clubs suitable for tots, teens and

    own ups!

e Museum of Lancashire will be closed until the autumn of 2011 whilst it undergoes a fantastic new make over but The Harris

useum and Ribble Steam Railway continue to host a wonderful programme of events, activities and workshops, where you are invited

nd encouraged to get Hands On with some of their collections.

hatever type of event or activity you prefer we are condent that in Preston this summer you will nd something that will amuse,

    nthuse, inform and entertain.
