Summer Intern Housing Program The Greater Des Moines

Partnership Intern Program is designed

to accommodate local businesses,

organizations, and educational institutions

in the housing search for summer interns.

Grand View University is committed to

short-term housing.

The program enables interns to

network with each other during their time

in Des Moines when they’re not working

or studying. Components of the program

include:

Twenty-four-hour campus security and summer residence life staff promote the safety,

social, and emotional well-being of our residents. Residential issues and/or concerns will be

handled smoothly and effectively with the staff and through procedures in place for summer

housing.

The L Apartments are

designed for independent

living for students. Each four-

person bedroom apartment

is fully-furnished, including a

full-size bed in each room. The

shared bathrooms are designed

for private multi-person

use. Furnished living rooms,

spacious kitchens, wireless internet access and cable TV (at no charge) make the apartments

one of the most popular housing facilities on campus!

move-In and move-out dates The earliest move-in day is May 10 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Due to

Grand View scheduling, interns will not be able to move in prior to May 10. All interns must

moveinduringregularbusinesshours.Finalmove-outwillbeJuly28,betweenthehours

of8:30a.m.and3:30p.m.InternsneedingtoleavepriortoJuly28canmakespecial

arrangements with the Grand View Department of Housing.
