Week 1 -June 26th – June 30th

Summer Kick-off with Spirit

Welcome to BBA Summer Adventure 2017! What a better way to kick off the summer by showing our spirit for our summer campers, friends, families and our country! The first week will be filled with many exciting activities. During this week the children will engage in fun, exciting team building activities and 4th of July crafts as we kick off our summer camp activities. We will be getting ready for our exciting parade and Bar-b-que on Friday! Each group will design their own Summer Float that will be a part of our parade. What a delicious way to end the week! Happy 4th of July!

Our Colorful Crazy Lego World

Everything is awesome; everything is cool when you’re a part of the BBA Summer

Camp! We Rule! This two week theme is sure to be a colorful splash for our campers as things “Get Crazy with Legos” as we mix it with a splash of color! Our campers will be designing their own Lego creations. They will be making their own Life size Lego Maze that will sure to impress. This theme will be so much fun and our campers will sure be laughing and building their way through the two weeks.

Week 4 -July 17th - July 21st & Week 5 -July 24th - July 28th

Under the Sea

Come join us on an Ocean Adventure that will be sure to make a splash in the summer! From the smallest sea creatures to the biggest whale in the ocean, this week we will be discovering all about the many creatures that live in the big blue sea. Have you ever heard a whale communicate? Did you ever wonder how dolphins jump so high out of the water? Come with us as we explore the depths of the deep blue sea. It will be really fun to be able to visit Adventure Aquarium and see first-hand the beauty that lives in the ocean!

Week 6 – July 31st – August 4th & Week 7 - August 7th - 11th

Super Heroes and Princesses

It’s a bird, it’s a plane…or maybe it’s a Princess! Whether you are into Super Heroes or your Princesses, girls and boys alike will love this adventure of heroic proportions. These two weeks promise to be non-stop, action-packed and fun for all! Our campers will enjoy dressing up as their favorite super hero or princess, Create their own super hero, and master mind their super power. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Week 8- August 14th - 18th & Week 9 - August 21st - 25th

African Safari Let's go on a Safari! Did you know the word "Safari" is a Swahili word meaning "Journey"! The Safari will take is through a wonderful journey to the dry desert plains. We will learn about herds of elephants, prides of lions and troops of monkeys and much more. Our activities will include making African Jewelry, masks, animal sculptures and Safari Snacks. We even plan on going on a Safari Adventure to the Philadelphia Zoo! What a Wild time we will have. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Week 10 -August 28th - 30th Closed Thursday, August 31st and Friday, September 1st

End of Summer Splash We covered all the units, the summer is at an end, fun filled days and water play, and even lots of new friends. Let us end this time with special crafts and relax with lots of friends and have some laughs, remembering our adventures with our end of the Summer Splash! We are opened for daycare only on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 8/28- 8/30 Closed- Thursday 8/31/17 and Friday 9/1/17

Listed above are the units that will be covered each week. In addition to the many craft activities that center around each theme, all the children will have a daily opportunity to participate in our "Science Exploration Room" where they will have a half hour of fun science experiments and to the "Kitchen" where they will participate in delicious cooking classes throughout the week! Look out Rachael Rae and Bobby Flay!!

Our Campers will also participate in outdoor play activities including our famous "Splash Days", sports, games, guest speakers, field trips, movie days and much more! Please see our "Summer Special Events Calendar" for the list of field trips. This will be available the first day of camp. Be sure to have the Field Trip permission form returned by the date indicated!

In addition to the fun daily activities of the summer camp we have several optional "Specialty Camps" available. These camps are optional and in addition to our Summer Calendar.
