    It's a simple equation: WeARE role models to our

    children, whether or not wechoose to be. They may or maynot admire us, but they will

    mirror us. Being a positive rolemodel means being careful tomodel the behavior we wantthem to mirror. --Bert Simmons

    Not going to teach Summer School

    Discipline method did not work

    What I learned

    Teachers strive for specificclass interaction, but withoutchanging things when theyarent working, the whole

    class suffers.

    Alternativestudentsshould not

    be treatedthe same asregularstudents.

    My View of Teaching: Revised

    Critical thought is the best way to grow.

    Teaching is more than babysitting, it is communication, action, andresponsibility.

    Questions

    What will I do when Im faced with a problem student?

    What discipline techniques wouldhave been more effective?

    How will I create a more hands onlearning environment?

    What incentives will I give goodstudents?
