5. Please Keep us InformedContact: [email protected] or 706.262.8900It is especially important now that we keep the lines of communication going in both directions! Please remember to let the church staff know of the important events in your lives. Many times people assume that the staff and other members know about the birth of a new baby, a wedding in the family, a serious illness, an upcoming hospitalization or the loss of a loved one, when that is not the case. We would rather hear about these events several times from several people than miss an important event.

6. Morning Sermon Series: The Resurrection Changes Everything! After Jesus’ ascension, the disciples are told that they will carry the message of healing and hope in the gospel to the ends of the earth. Jesus instructed them to wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit that would spread the resurrection power of heaven to the ends of the earth. This series follows our three-year study in the Gospel of Luke and will focus on how the resurrection of Jesus Christ and the coming of the Holy Spirit shaped the theology, hearts, and actions of the early Church in their obedience to Christ’s command to “Make Disciples of All Nations.” Beginning in the book of Acts, we will look at major passages in the New Testament that help us see how The Resurrection Changes Everything.

7. Evening Summer Sermon Series—Persevering Faith: Ancient Witnesses to a Future HopeThis summer, we will further explore the stories of ordinary saints, as specified in Hebrews 11, who demonstrated extraordinary belief in the unseen promises of God. Through God’s gift of faith, these Old Testament believers were commended for exemplifying faithful obedience and enduring trust in God, in the midst of hardship and persecution. By God’s preserving grace, we too will live by faith and persevere to the end, as we fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.
