Call to Worship..………Christ Our Hope in Life and Death God’s Glory through the Word Responsive Reading……………………Ephesians 2:13-22 Ephesians 2:13–22 (ESV)13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility 15 by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, 16 and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility. 17 And he came and preached peace to you who were far off and peace to those who were near. 18 For through him we both have access in one Spirit to the Father. 19 So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. 22 In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit. Scripture Meditation and Prayer………………Pastor Luke Love
Ephesians 2:15-17 Hymn of Remembrance………………………He was Wounded Hymn of Worship…………..…………………..Jesus Shall Reign
The Gentle, Peace Making King Luke 19:28-44
1. Jesus rides on a donkey to show His gentleness. What does the gentleness of Jesus mean for the Christian? How can we abuse the gentleness of Jesus?
2. Jesus states that even the rocks would cry out praise for Him. In what ways is creation a more consistent praise to God than humanity?
3. What are the things that make for peace in verse 42? How does verse 42 describe so many in the world today? What are some things that the world is convinced will make for peace?
4. In what way are the things that make for peace hidden from Jerusalem right now? Why would Jesus still cry over the unbelief of Jerusalem even if God is the one who has hidden the truth?
5. What does the crying of Jesus reveal about who Jesus is? How should Jesus’ crying encourage us as Christians about the heart of Jesus toward us?

God be gracious to us and bless us,and cause His face to shine upon us— Selah.
That Your way may be known on the earth,Your salvation among all nations.
Let the peoples praise You, O God;let all the peoples praise You!
Let the nations be glad and sing for joy;for You will judge the peoples with uprightnessand guide the nations on the earth. Selah.
Let the peoples praise You, O God;let all the peoples praise You!
The earth has yielded its produce;God, our God, blesses us.
God blesses us,that all the ends of the earth may fear Him.
Psalm 67

The Gentle, Peace Making King Luke 19:28-44
I. Jesus is a gentle King, so rest in Him.“This took place to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet. Say to the daughters of Zion, behold your king is coming to you, gentle and mounted on a donkey, even on a colt, the foal of a beast of burden.” — Matthew 21:4-5
II. Jesus is a peace making King, so submit to Him.
