Church membership is a critical part of a healthy church. Why? Because God designed the church to be a community of believers who help each other to heaven through prayer, encouragement, and accountability (Matt. 18:15-17; Heb. 3:13, 10:24-25, 13:17). Church membership is a way to say that we are committed to following Jesus together.

This bi-monthly class introduces who we are, what we believe, and how we intend to live as a church for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission. Taking this class doesn’t make you a member, but it’s the first step of the membership process. Lunch is provided and sign ups are required. To learn more, please email Kelton at [email protected].

Below is our nursery and class schedule for children under 6th grade for each of our Sunday gatherings. Both morning and evening classes use the same Bible-based curriculum that teaches age-appropriate truths about the greatness of God in Christ through key themes found chronologically in the New Testament.

A nursing moms’ room with live audio of the service is available at all times (room 304), and there is a live video feed of the sermon in the foyer in the back of the main hall for parents who need to take their children out during the sermon. equipping hourNURSERY: 0-2 years (room 303) CLASSES: 3 years -Pre-K (room 306); K-1st Grade (room 301); 2nd-3rd grade (room 208); 4th-6th Grade (room 209)

ministry partnerships

2 0 s c h e m e s ( + D R B C T E A M ) 20 Schemes is an organization that seeks to spread the gospel in Scotland’s low income housing

developments (schemes) by planting healthy churches. DRBC partners with them by supporting Pete Stewart and Pete Bell as they seek to plant a church in Barlanark, a housing scheme in Glasgow. In this community of 4,000 people it is believed that less than 1% are born-again believers. Pray for the Petes and their families as they trust God to do great things in the midst of certain opposition. Pray also for Mark Butman and the DRBC team that he will leading in July as they go to Scotland to visit the Petes to encourage them, serve them, and deepen the relationship that DRBC has with them.

THE R FAMILY The R family live in a major city in Central Asia where they minister to refugees who have fled from war-torn countries in hard-to-reach areas of the world. They have the opportunity to provide ministry training and ESL outreach to refugees, shelter for abused or at-risk women, and childcare and skills training so that parents can provide for their families. They also have a cross-cultural internship which provides interns, always coming from refugee-producing nations, the opportunity to be discipled and trained for ministry leadership. Pray for their bold witness to the Gospel to those whom God would bring across their paths. Pray also that God would use the evil that many of these refugees have faced to awaken them to the glory of God in the Gospel.

t h e s e v i l l e s The Sevilles live in a restricted-access country and are part of an international church in a major global city of over 25 million people. Pray for deep community and a culture of discipleship in a difficult context where church members are spread across a large and congested city. Pray for their elders to have wisdom in their leadership and power as they preach God’s Word to people from all over the world.

a s s i s t p r e g n a n cy c e n t e rAssist Pregnancy Center is a local ministry that seeks to help abortion-minded women and men consider Christ-honoring options for unplanned pregnancies. Members of DRBC can be involved in this ministry through prayer, financial giving, and providing mentors to help clients process all they are facing from a gospel perspective. Pray for their clients, some who have had miscarriages, some who are considering abortion,

some who are estranged from family over the holidays, and pray also for our men’s ministry team that has recently started seeing clients and for more opportunities to share the gospel with clients who don’t know Christ. To learn more about the ministry or to be added to the email newsletter and prayer list, please email [email protected].

R E D E E M E R C H U R C H O F D U B A I Redeemer Church of Dubai is an international church that is located in one of the most unique cities on the planet. The UAE allows for significant religious freedom compared to many of

the surrounding nations. This open door for the Gospel provides unique opportunity to reach people from unreached and under-reached people groups. DRBC partners with this church by supporting Jason Berrus, his wife Beverly, and their two children, as he serves as an associate pastor at the church. DRBC also regularly sends pastors to Dubai to assist in teaching and training.
