He who does not love does not know God, for God is love.” Welcome, Cherie Carney Children’s Minister Cherie Carney served as Children’s Minister at First Bap- tist Church, Little Rock, from August 2001 to April 2016, where she also had served as part-time Director of Pre- school Ministries for several years. She opened Miss Cherie’s Daycare in April of 2016 where she has 17 em- ployees and serves 62 preschoolers, ages 6 weeks to PreK. She and her husband have three children, and three grandchildren. On Sunday, August 27th, the church voted unanimously to call Cherie to serve as our Children’s Minister. Pray for Cherie and her husband, Craig, as they serve the Lord at Life Line.
