CX BALLOT NOTICE • Policy Debate will be adjudicated via online balloting in Tabroom.com. Further information will be made available soon.
LD BALLOT PICK UP NOTICE • Before each of the first six rounds, the affirmative in the first flight of an LD debate MUST pick up TWO ballot envelopes from the LD ballot table located near the Western HS Student Entrance (1st Floor) or the 2nd Floor Foyer (Main Building East Corner) and take the ballots to the round.
PF BALLOT NOTICE • All Public Forum ballots will be delivered to the competition rooms. All debaters and judges should report directly to their assigned room. Judges should not start the round until ballots are delivered. At the conclusion of the round, all judges should proceed to the area outside the PF tab room to return their ballots together.
THE NSDA STUDENT PARTY, presented by ISD, will take place Tuesday evening at America’s Backyard. NEW IN 2018! Coaches may re-register for supplemental events online via Tabroom.com or in-person at Revolution Live (see page 41).

Another Opportunity for Public Forum Debaters Up to 32 teams will be allowed into International Supplemental Public Forum Debates (IPF). There is no additional cost to participate in this event. The top performing U.S. team and the top performing international team will participate in an exhibition debate Friday afternoon at the Convention Center.

Eligibility • All 7 ballot U.S. PF teams that did not advance to rounds 7 and 8 are invited to register in-person for IPF on a first come, first served basis. Supplemental Re-registration begins promptly at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday evening (June 19) at Revolution Live. Any U.S. Public Forum teams advancing to rounds 7 and 8 are NOT eligible to compete in IPF.
Quarterfinalist, Semifinalist, and Exhibition Round plaques will be awarded Friday after the 2:30 p.m. exhibition round in Room 305.
INTERNATIONAL SUPPLEMENTALPUBLIC FORUM DEBATEIPF
Any high school student who wishes to judge at the Middle School National Speech & Debate Tournament after being eliminated from main event competition must be a junior or senior in the 2017-2018 school year with 250 honor society points. Students not meeting this criteria will not be eligible to judge. Student volunteers earn two merit points for each round judged!
Eligible students should meet in the Everglades HS Auditorium (speech events) or Glades MS Auditorium (debate events) on Wednesday and Thursday to judge. Prior to judging, all students must attend judge training. The first judge training will be held at 8:30 a.m. each morning.

Postings and ResultsResults of all elimination rounds prior to finals will be posted in the following locations. Results will also be available in the Nats18 Guidebook app and at www.speechanddebate.org/Nats18.
MEDIA RELEASE POLICY • After the conclusion of the tournament, national office staff will email a comprehensive news release naming national champions and top award winners to coaches of all National Tournament qualifiers. Staff will also create a customizable media release template so that coaches who wish to send a specific media release may do so. Lunches provided by HoneyBaked Ham will be available for purchase by students, judges, and guests at each school site each day.
Meals cost $8 each and include a main entree, chips (with sandwiches only), and a cookie. Entree options include a ham sandwich, turkey sandwich, Mediterranean veggie on flatbread, garden salad, and fruit bowl.
Monday through Wednesday, Congress participants will enjoy a special menu provided by the Bonaventure Resort & Spa with meal prices of $10 or less.
Buying from our onsite vendors is the most convenient way to do lunch at the tournament! Cash and credit are both accepted onsite.

Supplemental Re-registration – 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.(Coaches re-register online via Tabroom.com or in-person at Revolution Live)
Re-registration closes promptly at 9:00 p.m.
NEW THIS YEAR! Coaches will re-register their students for supplemental and consolation events by logging into their tournament
registration via Tabroom.com. Coaches may re-register students for either supplemental or consolation events as soon as their students
appear in the system as eligible for re-registration. Supplemental Re-registration will end promptly at 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19.
The student’s coach attending Nationals must have online access to Tabroom.com to re-register their student(s). An in-person re-registration
option will also be available Tuesday evening for coaches who need assistance in re-registering students.
Only pre-registered students are eligible to be re-registered.
Students eliminated from main events after round 6 or round 8 and students eliminated after prelims of Congressional Debate are eligible to be re-registered
by their coach during Supplemental Re-registration. Students may be re-registered for up to two (2) supplemental speech events or Extemporaneous Debate. Students may not be re-registered for other supplemental speech
events if they are re-registered for Extemporaneous Debate.
Please note, pre-registration fees are non-refundable.
