The Village of Winnebago has an immediate part-time (up to 29 hrs./week) opening for a conscientious and hardworking individual to join its Public Works Department. The position serves as a Meter Reader/Lab Assistant and is an entry level position. The candidate must be able to perform semi-skilled work and operate various hand tools, specialty tools including water meter readers, snow removal equipment, and mowers, and be able to respond to weather and water utility emergencies including on-call and weekends. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in general construction or building and grounds maintenance is desirable.
