FAQ’s §  Last day for cancelation?

•  Anytime prior to the start of construction. §  Options if the homeowner sells his/her home?

•  Transfer the PPA to the new homeowner, upon credit approval •  Purchase the system

§  Roof Warranty? •  Greater of 1 year post install or length of any existing warranty

§  What’s happens if the homeowner gets a new roof? •  Homeowner pays to have system taken off and reinstalled

§  Purchase Options? •  Anytime between years 6 to 20 •  When home is sold

§  Options at the end of PPA term? •  Purchase •  Renew, for up to 10 years •  SunEdison will remove system

FAQ’s §  What’s the terms?

•  20 years §  Who receives the rebates and incentives?

•  SunEdison applies the rebates and incentives to the cost of the system in order to reduce the net costs to lower your solar payments.

§  How does the customer get billed? •  Customer is billed based on actual production on a monthly basis.

If the internet goes down, we bill based on estimated production. §  How will the customer know if the panels are producing

energy? •  Customers have immediate access to our energy monitoring

application that can be viewed on-line or on mobile. •  Additionally our Residential Renewable Operations Center will

monitor your system 24/7/365.

FAQ’s §  What happens if SunEdison goes out of business, who will take care

of the warranties and maintenance? •  SunEdison has been in the business for over 50 years and has a recently

become the worlds leading renewable company. While there are many new solar companies coming to market with SunEdison reliability and quality is assured. In the highly unlikely event something did happen we have proactively set up a warranty reserve for every system to guarantee the maintenance and warranties promised.

§  How will the customer know if the panels are producing energy? •  Customers have immediate access to our energy monitoring application that can

be viewed on-line or on mobile. •  Additionally our Residential Renewable Operations Center will monitor your system

24/7/365.

§  How does the customer get billed? •  Customer is billed based on actual production on a monthly basis. If the

internet goes down, we bill based on estimated production

FAQ’s §  What panels are you using, are they from China?

•  The homeowner will receive high quality SunEdison panels from an American company. With over 50 years of experience we only use reliable and quality assured panels that meet or exceed all safety requirements.

§  Are their internet connectivity requirements? •  Enphase – Must use homeowners internet and connect with Envoy •  SMA/SolarEdge – Default to homeowner internet; SunEdison

provides Gateway and a Bridge for ease of using homeowners internet but also has Cellular capabilities. The primary use of cellular is backup however can be used as the primary source of internet if home does not have internet. ̶  IMPORTANT – PPA’s can be sold without internet. The internet

monitoring is used to support our billing, which is based on kWh produced. If they do not have internet they will be billed based on estimated production.
