María Fullaondo (Madrid, 1970) holds a Degree in Architecture and a Ph. D. in Architecture from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Her Doctora-te thesis, Desarrollo de la Arquitectura Moderna a través de las exposiciones de arquitectura del Mu-seo de Arte Moderno de Nueva York (MoMA), was awarded with the first prize in the 2007 VI Concurso de Tesis de la Fundación Caja de Arquitectos. It was published in 2010: Casas en el jardín del MoMA. La consolidación de un museo (Houses in the MoMA´s Garden. The consolidation of a museum), Fundación Caja de Arquitectos, Barcelona 2010. Colección Ar-quia/Tesis núm. 30.

From 2001 to present days she teaches as Associate Professor in the Department of Graphic Expression and Design at the Escuela de Arquitectura of the Universidad Europea de Madrid (UEM).

Her major fields of Research and Teaching are Drawing and Graphic Education as an expressive tool of Architecture which will allow to deal with infor-mative and descriptive content, the graphical repre-sentation of the meaning (subjective and abstract) of the object and project, and the intention of the Design.

Maria has been involved in teaching in several cour-ses in different programs (Architecture, Design, Art and Architecture, Industrial Engineering), among

which: Models and Prototypes, Spatial and Infor-mation Drawing, Computing and Representation, Two-Dimensional Representation Workshop, Geo-metric and Architectural Representation Systems, Infographic Model of Objects, Assisted Compu- ter Drawing, Informatic and Graphic Expression, Image Management and Three Dimensional Representa-tion Workshop.

In 2009 the course program (Spatial and Information Drawing) was awarded with the third price in Inno-vative Educational Projects.

From 2007-2010 María Fullaondo was Director of the Department of Graphic Expression and Design at the Escuela de Arquitectura (UEM). She also cu-rrently teaches 3D Modeling at the “Instituto Arqui-tectura – Fundación COAM” (the Madrid Architect’s Association Foundation).

Maria Fullaondo is the author of books on Archi-tecture and Drawing, 3D modeling for Architectu-re, Systematic Process applied to Architecture. She has given lectures and talks in many universities and congresses. Since 1994 she combines teaching with professional work in her own architectural office In-Fact Arquitectura.

Born in Madrid, Spain in 1970, Ciro Márquez holds a degree in Architecture from the Universidad Po-litécnica de Madrid, meanwhile he was working at the professor Javier Segui´s office during five years. Following architecture proffesional practice until nowadays, standing out a series of rehabilitations into three transformable housings.

In 1999 he establish the mmmm… group, an artist team that works on public and participative action art, new media and comunication. Remarkable of mmmm… projects and works are the “amazon virus” awarded for production, in the Art & Artificial Life International Competition, Vida 5.0. by the Telefó-nica Foundation in 2002; “Telemadre.com” a social exchange model, widespread on international me-dia, several times exhibited, and seminar study case at the The Media Anthropology Network, EASA; “Di-nero para leer” a proyect for the Instituto Cervantes exhibited in New York and Beijing; “Orquesta disper-sa” comissioned by the Victoria-Gasteiz City Coun-cil, within Disonancias, a cultural program aimed at companies research centres to promote innovation. At present mmmm… is developing the project “mee-ting bowls” promoted by the Times Square Alliance that will take place on august 2011, in New York.

Joining the Istituto Europeo di Design at Madrid in 2002, as associate teacher he was responsible for the sujects Propedeutic off the Project and Morpho-logy syllabus, teaching until 2006. From 2007 to the

present days Ciro Márquez teaches as associate pro-fessor in the Department of Proyects and Graphic Expression at the Escuela de Arquitectura of the Uni-versidad Europea de Madrid (UEM). His major fields of research and teaching are drawing and asociation process as creative projecting proceedings.

Ciro has been involved in teaching several courses in Architecture and in Design programs, among which: Projects Workshop within Anthropometric Scale, Project Workshop within Local Scale, Antho-pometry Sociology and Ergonomics, Models and Prototypes, Shape Analisis Drawing, Spatial and In-formation Drawing, Spatial and Shape Drawing and Color Theory, Geometric and Shape Development, Assisted Computer Drawing, Informatic and Graphic Expression, Image Management and Three Dimen-sional Representation Workshop.

In 2009 the course program (Spatial and Information Drawing) was awarded with the third price in Inno-vative Educational Projects. From 2010 Ciro joins a Proyect Reserch Teem promote by the UEM, inves-tigating on Spatial Development Formulas Typology, and he is coauthor of a book publish by the same name in 2011.
