SUPERVISOR TRAINING SESSIONS These sessions are intended for all new PhD students and, in addition, for anyone planning to supervise who has not previously attended a training session. All supervisors are required to have attended a training session. If you are a new PhD student, or are otherwise interested in supervising, you will need to attend one of the three training sessions, which are being run jointly by Researcher Development and the Faculty of Mathematics. To book your place, please register online following the link provided below. Places are limited to 25 per session but we will try to accommodate as many people as we can. If you miss out on a place please let us know.

THURSDAY 18 JANUARY 2018 1.30pm-4.00pm, MR21, CMS

Book a place at https://www.training.cam.ac.uk/gdp/event/2420057 Research students have the opportunity to supervise (give small-group tutorials) to undergraduates. Supervisions are normally arranged through Colleges, and can be a useful supplement to income but there is no obligation on research students to supervise. Note that attending supervisions as an undergraduate is not a substitute for attending supervision training. Graduate Office (C0.15), Email: [email protected]
