DIY Holiday Scented Wax Tart Melts

Ingredients:

2 oz. 100% soy wax.2 oz. fragrance oil (see suggestions below)

Crafters Choice™ Break-A-Way Clamshelldigital kitchen scalekitchen thermometermicrowave or double boilerglass pyrex measure cuputensil for stirringfull sheet sticker paper for printable labels

Instructions:

This recipe yields one clam shell of wax tarts.

Start by weighing out the wax, then melting in adouble boiler or incrementally in a glass pyrexmeasuring cup in the microwave. Once the waxreaches 185 degrees F – this is the recommendedtemperature to get the best fragrance from yourwax – weigh out and stir in the fragrance oil.

Once the wax has cooled to 110 degrees F, pourinto the clam shell and allow to set up at roomtemperature until it has cooled and hardenedcompletely.
