Our Focus is: CMEC (SWOT Analysis)

- Absence of a legal approval, still under development;

- Weak rate of penetration of this rural area; - Costs of the buildings and wages are high

compared to the current budget of CMEC;- Didactic and office automation materials are

missing;- Direct access to available supportive funds;

Powerful and competent team is in place and has a basic financial capacity to act;

Strong growth of the savings and available micro-credit funds, ca. 5.000.000 F CFA, i.e. 7.621 Euro;

Statuses, the Rule of Procedures, the Norms and Operational Standards are in place and applicable;

Intensive daily monitoring and control of technical and financial operations is assured

- COOPEC (main competitor); - Policy of Micro-Credits in the area;- Dependence on the cereal cultures; - Dependence on local climatic conditions;- Political instability: national, regional and

local;- Geographical and professional mobility of the

civil servants, current members of CMEC

Favourable economical situation offerd in the area;

Fewer competitors, even a total absence of competition in certain localities of the area of action: the only known competitor is COOPEC;

Potential of diversification of rural production;

Potential to create jobs for rural women

Regional diaspora active in Europe (e.g. Adom)
