At Moore College of Art & Design, every gift counts. Thanks to you – our generous supporters – we have been able to create new opportunities that enrich the experiences of our talented emerging artists and designers.

Gifts to Moore help sustain scholarships for our students who receive financial aid to attend Moore. Gifts also support internship fellowships that are awarded to juniors in all nine majors, building on our strong career focus and expanding the boundaries of the typical college internship experience. In short, gifts to Moore open opportunities to our students that can change their lives.

This year’s donor report shares with you some of our stories. You will discover what inspires our donors to give and how these gifts inspire new stories.

We thank each and every Moore supporter for the powerful impact their gifts makes on educating our students for careers in art and design.

We thank you.

What is the Sarah Peter Society?

Named in honor of Moore’s visionary founder, Sarah Worthington Peter, the Sarah Peter Society is a membership group of committed individuals investing $500 or more in the College each year. Members place a high value on the role that Moore plays in educating for careers in art and design and in providing a rich array of visual arts opportunities.

This premier donor level features exclusive benefits, including personal invitations to special events and exhibition openings. But the most important benefit of Sarah Peter Society membership is the powerful impact these gifts make on the lives of Moore’s talented emerging artists and designers.

To join the Sarah Peter Society, please use the return envelope included in this issue of Moore Magazine. We look forward to welcoming you!

Trisha Oniskey is an artist, mother, storyteller and Moore alumna. After enrolling at Moore, she found that

her passion was illustration.

Moore commissioned the portraits used in this report from Trisha Oniskey ‘10. They follow her series of portraits of women artists completed as a senior thesis last year and used as part of Moore’s 2010-2011 Annual Appeal.

Many thanks to Trisha for her gracious permission to use her portraits for this year’s annual appeal and donor report. Trisha also gives back to Moore by serving on the Alumnae Advisory Board.

Moore College of Art & Design values all gifts and makes every

effort to maintain accurate records, but occasionally our data are

have made an error.

We encourage you to contact Linda Porch, director of development,
