Why we would like to work with you

• It is estimated that a GP saves, on average, 4.7 lives per year. Thanks to their wide reach, medical writers have the opportunity to save many more (Whitman S, 2017). However, great science is of little value unless it is clearly disseminated.

• At Stgilesmedical, we enjoy the challenge and fulfilment that comes with delivering great work, and we are eager to support your team in doing this.

What makes us special?

• Our team combines the expertise of medics, scientists, editors, project managers and experienced writers with input from patient representatives.

• Our industry, academic and frontline care experience enables us to better understand the conflicting pressures faced by healthcare professionals, pharmaceutical companies and device developers, as well as the needs of patients and their families.

• Having teams in Berlin and London enables us to better look after European and North American clients, optimise resources and manage conflicts.

We do some unusual things

• By initiating/funding our own writing, research and teaching, we demonstrate our commitment to continuing professional development and health improvement.

• We have a special interest in the ‘less glamorous’ disciplines such as chronic disease, primary care and mental health.

• We add value to projects through novel approaches such as promoting art in patient communication.

Despite modern medicine depending on multidisciplinary patient management, it is rare that specialist groups meet and exchange learning. Stgilesmedical support the European Health Innovation Collaborative (EuHIC) on a pro bono basis. Bringing together doctors, scientists and inventors, EuHIC develops and delivers non-promotional educational events. Our recent ‘Putting Patients First’ conference in Berlin was a great success and we are now planning a similar event on 16th May 2019 (www.euhic.com).

• Our team is working with a US/French company to deliver diverse educational outputs for healthcare professionals. Recent projects include a series of slide presentations with voiceovers by European specialists covering core topics in vaccinology and a film on practical aspects of vaccine administration.
