Little Hands SureStart run “Dummy Dumping

Campaigns” throughout the year. These are events

where families are supported in weaning their children

off their pacifiers. Support from our Family Team is

available for any families who struggle with this stage in

their child’s development.

February

2013 saw the successful introduction of the community

library to the Ringfort Road Family Centre, Books for adults

and for children are available to borrow. Library is open

every Friday morning 9am — 12.30pm

May Physical Play

Each of our childcare programmes promote

physical play and give children lots of

opportunities to engage in physical play. Parents

are also informed of the benefits of play through

the PEEP ethos in our parent and child sessions.
