school” ice rescue techniques? PSDS teaches fire departments the most current rescue methods using training techniques and equipment fully endorsed by the USCG.

PSDS is the leading surface ice rescue organization in the western United States. PSDS is the only surface ice rescue trainer listed on GSA Schedule 84. State and local public safety departments can purchase from the GSA schedule (Contract # GS-07F-291BA).

PSDS has “Train the Trainer” programs available for costs as low as $550.00 per instructor. For departments that want their own Ice Rescue Instructor on staff, this is the course for you. We still offer “Student Training” for an average price of $325.00 per student.
