SurveyDig User’s Guide for Faculty

Access for Faculty:
1. Log into Badger Web as you normally do

TAA DAA!
This main screen displays all your assigned courses for the current term. You can change the term setting by clicking on the arrow and activating the drop-down menu.
There are many filters on this screen allowing you to customize this initial view.
Options: You can view only
courses with surveys
Only courses without surveys
Show comparative averages
Show response counts
Include min/max/and median statistics
Display the question item code
Hide text entry or the student comment section
By simply clicking the checkbox
This displays the number of surveys taken for a particular course. This will also display the ratio of surveys taken to those not taken
If you click on the number value under the “Surveys Taken” field, you can review the results of the evaluations
Your survey results will look like the screenshot below. Be a little patient it may take some time for the system to calculate the percentages, averages, and standard deviations.
Your results will also show all the student comments.
That’s it!
• You can access and view your course evaluations at any time.
• You can view past semester/term course evaluations by simply selecting the term you wish to view.
• You can see how many course evaluations have been completed per class. However, you will not be able to determine which student or students have completed their course evaluation.
• You are encouraged to use the Course Evaluation week by allotting 15 minutes of regular class time for students to complete the course evaluation using their laptop or mobile device. Computers located in lab spaces may also be used by appointment/arrangement.
