ForewordIf the world were ever faced with an immidiate threat of a verneshot, a copy of this booklet would be distrubuted to every household as a part of a public information campaign which would include announcements on television, in the press and online. This booklet has been designed for free and general distribution in that event. It is being placed on sale now for those who wish to know what they would be adviced to do at such a time.

We do not know the consequences of a disaster like the verneshot, but we know it will happen in the near future. We need to know what to do in such a situation to survive and help those around us.

The dangers which you and your family will face in this situation can be reduced if you do as this booklet describes.

The content of this booklet, and an online store for survival kits are available online at www.survivetheverneshot.com

Challenge to survival

EruptionThe verneshot is a volcanic eruption of enormous proportion, where volcanic gas builds up under a layer of non permiable rock, the craton. When it reaches a critical level, it launches an extreme amount of material into sub-orbital trajectory.

Everything within a certain distance of a verneshot will be totally destroyed. Even people living outside the area will be in danger from -1ERUPTION

RE-ENTRY

3

Page 6: Survive the Verneshot

Re-entryThe difference between a normal volcanic eruption and a verneshot is the re-entry. After being launched into sub-orbital trajectory, the massive chunk of rock plumets down on earth, resulting in further destruction.

When the craton is gone, the poisonous gas will leak out in the atmosphere, and end up all around the world, carried by the wind.

Information

Constantly objectively evaluate your group. If someone is not good at something and you have someone better, do not let them continue to do their task to “be respectful”, unless they are in the process of learning said task to benefit the group.

Sometimes, truth can harm more than anything else. If withholding information from the group will protect them, then do not hesitate to. Similarly, if divulging information that has been told in confidence will benefit the group, do not be afraid to share.
