What is TIPCO?
• Trust International Paper Corporation• Located at Barangay Bundagul, Mabalacat Pampanga• Established on December 13, 1988• A major player in the newsprint manufacturing industry in
the Philippines• Apart from the local market, TIPCO’s products are also
exported to other countries such as HongKong, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, India, Bangladesh, Taiwan, China, Singapore and USA
• A multi-million peso company equipped with technologically advanced paper machines, de-inking plants, warehouses and environmental management facilities
The Business of TIPCO
• Paper making is its main business
• Uses recovered paper from local and international suppliers
• Recovered materials are sorted out, converted into fiber and then de-inked. Pulp is then bleached and converted into quality paper

• The entire process of paper making is focused on using recycled paper and using recycled water
• Water is used to clean the recycled paper and is reused again and again then treated to adhere to environmental standards before it is reintroduced into the environment
ISO 14001 and TIPCO• TIPCO is ISO14001 certified• Guided by a set of core values and a sense of social responsibility,
the company has pollution abatement facilities which enable the transformation of process by-products into treated recycled, safe and re-useable forms
• The ISO 14000 environmental management standards exists to help organizations minimize how their operations negatively affect the environment (cause adverse changes to air, water or land) and comply with applicable laws and regulations
• ISO 14001 is the international specification for an environmental management system (EMS). It specifies requirements for establishing an environmental policy, determining environmental aspects and impacts of products/activities/services, planning environmental objectives and measurable targets, implementation and operation or programs to meet objectives and targets, checking and corrective action and management review
