•  Acts  upon  social  knowledge  services  in  the  following  sectors:  

educa9on,  health,  society,  culture,  livelihoods,  agriculture,  the  

environment  and  protec9on.  

•  Creates  &  provides  IEC  materials.  

•  Supports  the  survival,  protec9on  and  seLlement  of  communi9es  

affected  by  natural  disasters.    

•  Facilitates  affected  community  awareness  in  the  risk  of  disasters  and  

prepare  them  to  cope  and  recover,  and  promote  water,  sanita9on  and  

hygiene  related  ac9vi9es  as  well  as  health  educa9on.
