Swachhta Pakhwara –

16th Sept to 30th Sept, 2021 and on 2nd Oct, 2021

Day 02 (Swachh Station)

1. Stations Inspections were conducted by Officers and Supervisorial Staff at location near to

their working places.

2. Cleaning work done by removing waste from office area, tracks, stations, drains and

surrounding areas at station premises over WR.

3. Passengers were guided for eradicating single use plastic and also putting the Wet and Dry

garbage in separate dustbins provided on platforms and station areas.

4. Special efforts were carried out in cleaning of drains and roof tops of station premises.

5. Total 22,248 running Meter of Drains were cleaned over WR. (7,875 meter Stations/

Workshop depots/ Sheds/ Rly. institute/ School & 14,373 meter colonies).

6. Awareness campaign involving NGOs, etc. – Total 02 No. of organizations (NGO Name-

AMC at ADI and Save Earth at VTA)

7. Fogging done at 16 (12 at Stations/Workshops and 4 colonies) no of locations.

8. Total 14 webinars conducted wherein 178 no of officers/Railway staff/Family members

participated.

9. Total 425 trees planted at various locations over WR.

10. Unwanted debris removed over 6 no of locations over WR.

11. Total 1286 nos of Officers/ Railway staff/ Family members/NGO representatives /stake

holders/ Trade union representatives participated for Massive Shramdhan (observing social

distancing norms).

12. Total 21.68 T Garbage collected over WR. (including Recyclable/Dry Waste: 20.03T and

Plastic Waste : 1.65 T)

Day 03 (Swachh Station)

1. Station Inspections were conducted by Officers and Supervisorial Staff at location near to

their working places, deficiencies noted were informed to concerned authority (Details

enclosed).

2. Functioning of Solar Power equipment, Bottle Crushing Machines and other equipments

were ensured.

3. Cleaning of electrical equipments (i.e. Fans, Led lights, AC units, Signage boards etc) were

ensured at stations over WR.

4. Announcement on Swachhta awareness slogans was played through PA system. Audio-

Visual messages were displayed by digital screens at Stations.

5. Availability of cleaning tools and equipments, working of cleaning machines and protective

gears for cleaning staff were ensured.

6. Anti-littering notices were displayed at prominent places of station premises.

7. Special efforts were carried out in cleaning of toilets at station premises.

8. Total 23,681 running Meter of Drains were cleaned over WR. (9,676 meter Stations/

Workshop depots/ Sheds/ Rly. institute/ School & 14,005 meter colonies).

9. Awareness campaign involving NGOs, etc. – Total 01 No. of organizations (NGO Name- St.

Xavier’s, College at ADI)

10. Fogging done at 14 (10 at Stations/Workshops and 4 colonies) no of locations.

11. Total 3 webinars conducted wherein 69 no. of officers/Railway staff/Family members

participated.

12. Total 284 trees planted at various locations over WR.

13. Unwanted debris removed over 15 nos. of locations over WR.

14. Total 1990 no. of Officers/ Railway staff/ Family members/NGO representatives /stake

holders/ Trade union representatives participated for Massive Shramdhan (observing social

distancing norms).
