SWARCO I First in Traffic Solutions. ITC-3 TRAFFIC CONTROLLER STATE-OF-THE-ART TRAFFIC CONTROL AT INTERSECTIONS ITC-3 is the latest development of traffic controllers from SWARCO. Modular in design, the ITC-3 is configurable to suit a wide range of traffic management applications and can be directly connected to a wide range of control and monitoring systems. Developed to meet UK and International standards the ITC-3 is available as ELV and LV and can be delivered in two sizes depending on the number of signal phases required. For pedestrian control and small intersections a version with 6 phases and up to 16 detectors is available. For most intersections, the 3U rack with up to 24 phases and 40 detectors will be suitable. Versions with 32 phases and up to 128 detectors can be configured for complex applications or to cover more than one intersection. KEY FEATURES • Linux operating system with built-in web interface • Integral touchscreen providing full access to all parameters with full overview of signal status • Integral UTMC interfaces and RMU • Fault reporting also possible via SMS and email • Password protected with two security levels • Detection system based on inductive loops with 8 loops per card. Video, magnetometer and radar detection also supported • Detectors support speed, occupancy, uni-direction and count logic • Built-in bus priority functions • Lamp drive cards with TRIAC outputs for 48 / 230 VAC with full monitoring of voltage and current on all outputs. SOFTWARE FUNCTIONS

As standard, the ITC-3 comes with an advanced traffic algorithm that can be configured to cover any functionality for intersection control, including special conditioning.

• 16 traffic plans available per stream with standard parameters for programming of local and central co-ordination

• Cableless linking is possible with a GPS or main synced clock source

• One controller can control up to 8 independent intersections

• Each stream can have 16 stages. Each stream can be operated fully independently

• The logic is signal group controlled with a full conflict matrix between all groups

CONFIGURATION AND TESTING A Windows based, license free, easy-to-use software tool is provided, enabling config simulation directly from a standard PC.
