DATES TO REMEMBER

Two weeks have flown by so quickly. The staff has seen

your kids develop from shy, quiet characters to bright and

loud bundles of energy! We can only imagine how much

stories they have to tell about their adventures in the swim

program. They might have already accomplished learning a

few swim strokes, climbing the rock wall with the National

Guard, and playing a few games of tennis.

There's more to look forward to in the weeks to come.

Still, even with all of the excitement to learn even more

swim strokes, do more team building activities, and possi-

bly have a cooking lesson or an arts and crafts session, we

always make sure that your child's safety is first. There is

nothing more important!

Please do not forget to prepare your child for the swim

program with tennis shoes, a water bottle, and a snack or

money to purchase some yummy goodies from our snack

store. We're glad you're with us this summer!

In the past two weeks, our 5—8 years old participants have been introduced to theconcept of Positive Action. They now understand what is POSTIIVE and NEGATIVEand how each of their actions affect the feelings of their parents, family membersand friends. Additionally, the kids have a better idea of theirself-concept. Slowly they are learning their individualuniqueness, discovering their talents in sports, arts and

crafts and many others. Most importantly, theyare learning how to feelgood about expressingthemselves!

Throughout the summerprogram, each “positiveaction” will be recognized and awarded. Hereare some kids who did well the past two weeks!
