This has also allowed me to widen my variety of skills such as working as a member of a team and taking part in the national arena league also swimming at the south-east regionals this summer for the fourth year. Some of my many interests are swimming competitively as well as volunteering at the Wellbeing centre for those who have mental illnesses, learning disabilities and autism it has taught me so much volunteering there. I can socialise with lots of different ages. As well as being junior club captain I was also House captain at Farnham Heath End school and a member of the senior 14 this meant I had to take on a lot of responsibilities within school such as running the school events like open evening. Due to being a swimming teacher I must plan ahead including a yearly plan of achievement and then termly plans for each child and how they should progress in each lesson, before each lesson I must write a lesson plan and complete a risk assessment of the pool environment. At the end of each term a written report on each child must be completed and given to the parents and the swim co-ordinator. Work Experience

Pool helper/Teacher:For a year and half I volunteered at Rushmoor Royals as a qualified pool helper teaching children from the age of two to swim and assisting them in the water, I did this for an hour every weekend over in Yateley.

Water assistant:I have just started working at the swim school down at All Hallows, I work there four times a week for an hour on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday evenings as well as an hour and half on a Saturday morning. I work with range of different teachers.

Volunteer:I volunteer at the Wellbeing centre in Aldershot. The Wellbeing centre is there to support those with mental health issues and also learning disabilities and autism. I helped in the kitchen it required basic skills such as making a cup of tea and a sandwich.

Level 1 swim teacherI have been a qualified as a level 1 swim teacher for over a year now and have a lot of experience when it comes to communicating with others with it being children and other teachers.

Level 2 swim teacherI became a qualified level 2 swim teacher back in march 2016, this is the highest qualified swimming teacher you can get, it requires having your own classes and overseeing other teachers while they teach and communicating with parents.

Waitressing I have also worked as a silver service waitress at weddings, this means that I must be dressed smartly and present myself with good work ethic and approachable as well as being able to work well in a team.

Hobbies & Interests

Over the Past seven years I have been training and swimming competitively I have competed at many competitions including Surrey and Hampshire county champs as well as at the south east regionals. I was a part of the school netball, athletic and rounder’s teams for the full five years I had attended the school. I have also been scuba diving in Malta and Cyprus as well as taking part in an archery course. I love to learn new skills and meeting new people as I am currently shadowing a swimming coach at my club so that hopefully they will put me through my coaching courses. I also enjoy skiing and have been lucky enough to ski In Italy twice as well as new Hampshire in America twice and Bulgaria.
