It was conceived and largely built by Danish arquitect, Utzon, opening in 1973 after a long gestation that had begun with this competition-winning desing in 1957.

It’s one of the 20th century’s most distinctive building.

The Sydney opera house is among the busiest performing arts centres in the world, hostin over 1,500 performances each year attended by some 1 million people.

At the Sydney Opera you can visit its five theaters, Concert Hall, Drama Theatre, Opera Theatre, Studio Theatre and the music room. You have five trial studies, two main halls, four restaurants, six bars and numerous souvenir shops. It has caters for weddings, parties and conferences too. It has a library, recording room and exhibit space. In total there are about 800 different environments or rooms at the resort.

In our opinion we believe it is a quiet place and a true work of art because it looks like an island. A hard time but it's amazing design, and gives some importance to Sydney besides being Heritage and Cultural Heritage of Australia and Denmark. We recommend that you visit because it has a large number of very large entertainment rooms and just to see that artwork is worth.
