II. SOCORRO! If you need extra help to get you through the year, you have severaloptions:

    A. See me before school (Im here by 7:30)B. Get a pass from me to come in and get help during advisoryC. If neither of these work, let me know and Ill stay after school to help you

but Ill need to make arrangements to have someone let Cooper out.

III. Si ests ausente : (If you are absent)A. phone a friend/check the blog/e mail meB. See me when you return to school to discuss make-up work and to turn in

homework assigned before your absence. Homework assigned before yourabsence is due the day that your return to Spanish class. All handoutsmissed will be in a tray in the back of the room.

    C. NOTE: You have 3 days from the day you return to make up a test or a quizif you were absent on the day it was given. You will have one day plusone for every Spanish class meeting missed to make up homeworkassignments that were assigned while you were absent

    D. Any tests, quizzes, or projects announced before your absence must be

taken on their due date.E. F. Please inform me if you know you will be absent and I will do the same

    for you.

IV. Class Conduct and Cheating:Please be very familiar with your student handbook with regards to cheating andclass/personal conduct. You all know me, I know you all, so you know what Iexpect::

We all know the drill by now.if you think its wrong dont do it. Dont usetranslators, dont let anyone copy your homework, dont copy anyone elseshomework,

Dont be jerks to other people because I WILL call you on it. Dont complainit just irritates me and puts me in a horrid mood. If you

think you can do it better, let me know, Ill let you try. If you think you can explain something in an easier way, let me knowyoure

not the only one learning here. Im learning too. You have no idea how much Ilearn from you guys.

Lets all get along and have funotherwise this will be a LONG year.

    V. Expectations:If this isnt beating a dead horse I dont know what is. You know how to act in myclass and I know you know how to act in my class. There will be no warningsyoulljust win yourself a trip down to the officeand they dont really want to see you. So

just because I dont want you to tell me I never told you heres a refresher: Being on time to class means being in your seat when class begins, notwalking in the door as class begins. No beverages or food of any kind in classthis just gets us all in trouble. You can hardly speak Spanish clearly if you have gum/mints in your mouth

now can you? Come to class on time and be prepared:I DO NOT WANT ANYONE GETTING UP TO GET PENS OR SHARPENPENCILS ONCE CLASS HAS STARTED. I hate that.
