The Writers & Producers: The Director:
Louise Ann Munro & Sherill Turner
Actresses Louise & Sherill met ‘between acting jobs’ serving pizza in their home town (Romford). Everyone would mix them up, which inspired them to write a feature film about it. Double the Odds is now in development. Their shared passion for writing comedy led them to writing more scripts together. They set up It's a Funny Life Films in 2017 with the goal of creating quirky stories with heart and because it was time to step up and create more filmmaking opportunities for women. In 2018, they completed their first two award-winning comedy short films Mind F*#k & Mumatar.
