Sponsorship Opportunities
Synthetic Biology Australasia (SBA) was formed in 2014 in response to the ground swell of expertise emerging from Scientists within Australia and our neighbours in the field of Synthetic Biology. SBA aims to support this growing field of research and create a community of collaboration and communication between scientists, industry and the community at large.
Following the huge success of our inaugural event in Canberra in April 2016 the SBA will host the 2017 meeting in Sydney, Australia. The program will include presentations of the latest research from renown international scientists as well as leading and early career researchers from Australia and New Zealand.
Synthetic biology is a rapidly-growing field in Australia and is highly interdisciplinary drawing on molecular biology, cell biology, protein engineering, imaging, ‘omics technologies, analytical chemistry, high-throughput analysis, bioinformatics, as well as many other areas. This conference will be of interest to a wide variety of attendees and sponsors and we expect more than 150 enthusiastic scientists to be joining us.

Presentation Prize Sponsorship ($550)
Awards will be given to the best student and post-doc presentations (oral and poster). Prize Sponsorship gives you naming rights to one of these awards. For each division, a winner and a runner up will be named and presented with a prize and a certificate.
Registration Table Materials

o Applications must be received on the official Symposium Sponsorship application form (see below). An invoice will be issued upon receipt of this completed application form.
o Full payment must be made within 30 days from the date of invoice or 30 days prior to the conference date, whichever is first.
o Sponsorship will not be assigned without a signed application form and full payment of invoice.
o The Conference Organising Committee reserves the right, at their total discretion, to decline any application.
o All payments must be made in Australian dollars.
o If the full payment is not received by the due date, the Conference Committee has the right to review the sponsorship and withdraw the application.
