A SYSTEM YOU CAN BUILD ON TO SUIT CHANGING

REQUIREMENTSBPTs modular system is ideal for single family dwellings, large

building complexes and residential estates. The modulardesign of the basic elements facilitates expansion of

the system as well as easy installation and maintenance.

    2BPT

    SYSTEM 200

    SYSTEM 200ITS MAIN FEATURES

The power supplier ismounted on a single 4 or 6-unitmodule (audio entry system)or 12-unit module (video entrysystem) for installation on DINrail.

Expandable to a maximumof 10 main entrances with amaximum of 10 entrances foreach block.

Up to 3 receivers may beactivated by the same call.Using simultaneous callamplifiers, 7 receivers maybe activated per amplifier.

Using suitably sized con-nection cables, the standardentry system permits instal-lations with a maximumdistance of 250 m betweenthe entry panel and thereceiver.

This system may be usedto create intercom installa-tions using up to 3 monitorsor 12 handsets.

    Possibility of using a videorecorder.

    OTHER FEATURESOF THE SYSTEM:

Modular entry panelsThis type of entry panel permits grea-ter flexibility in terms of choice of size(1 to 4 modules), installation options(horizontal/vertical), and the widerange of accessories available.

Low voltage power supplyThe monitor, the handset and the entrypanel operate on low voltage.

Privacy of video signalOnly one monitor of the user calledmay be connected to the video signalat a time. When a second user is called, the for-mer will be automatically cut off.

Conversation privacy (audioentry system)Conversation privacy is assured bythe installation of two accessories:one in each handset and one in thevicinity of the power supplier.

Privacy of audio(video entry system)It is possible to converse with the cal-led monitor only.

Electronic protectiondoor lock release solenoidEven if the door lock release button onreceivers is kept pressed, after a cer-tain time (from 1 to 15 s adjustable)the voltage output to door releasesolenoid is automatically cut off. Thisavoids overheating the solenoid.

Stair light control (video entrysystem)The installation of a VLS/101 relay unitnext to the VA/200 power suppliermakes it possible to activate the stairand garden lighting timer etc. usingthe stair light button on the monitor.

Switching on the entry panelor surveillance camerasThe user - if no one else is occupyingthe line - by pressing the button to bringthe monitor on live, can turn on thecamera to check the entrance. If thesystem is connected to any additionalentry panels or surveillance cameras, they can be selected in sequence bypressing the stairs light button.

Brightness controlThe brightness of the image is adjustedby turning the ON/OFF button on moni-tors.

Externalcall exclusionA PL/200 switch unit complete withcall exclusion indicator LED may beinstalled into the handset to excludecalls from the entry panel.

Switching off the monitorBy turning the brightness control but-ton anticlockwise as far as it will go,the monitor is switched off and the callsignal is excluded.

Call confirmationWhen a call button is pressed anacoustic signal is heard at the entrypanel confirming the call.

CamerasCameras are solid state type to gua-rantee a long duration. No maintenan-ce at all.

Protection againstentry panel tamperingThe entry panels VZF and TM seriesare equipped with a microswitch thatcan be used to generate an alarmsignal on any attempt to interfere withpanel.

Call repeaterCall repeater can be added to theinstallation when the call is to beheard in a different room from wherethe monitor is installed.

Auxiliary servicesThe monitors and the handsets areequipped with 1 or 2 buttons for auxi-liary services as required.

Landing callThe power supplier is equipped with 2differential call tone generators to per-mit the possibility of a differentiatedlanding call tone.

Just 3 common wires (audioentry system)3 common conductors and 1 call con-ductor.

Just 4 common conductors(video entry system)Using just 4 common conductors, coaxial cable (or twisted pair) and 1call conductor you can create the sim-plest or most complex of systems.
