GeographyTennessee’s major cities are Nashville, Memphis, Knoxville, and Chattanooga. Some of the land Forms are Appalachian Mountains,high peeks, little valleys, and Rocky Mountainous. The population there is 6,296,254 people. The climate there in the summer gets up to 90°F, but in the mountains, it is cooler. The land size is: 42,146 square miles, and it is in the Southeast region.

HistoryTennessee became a U.S. state on June 1st,1796. The native tribes arethe Cherokee and Chickasaw. The first settlers came from North Carolina,Virginia, England, and other states and countries. Some interesting dates, arein 1500's the Cherokee and Chickasaw settle Tennessee. In 1796 Tennesseebecomes the 16th state. In 1968 Martin Luther King Jr. is killed in Memphis. In1865 The Civil War ends, Lincoln is killed, and Andrew Johnson becomespresident. In 1917- One hundred thousand Tennesseans volunteer to fight in World War l. 1763- England wins the French and Indian War; Tennessee becomes part f North Carolina.

EconomyTennessee’ natural recourses are  Cheese, Milk, Soy Beans, Cotton, and tobacco.The manufacture goods are chemicals, machinery, food products, and electric equipment. The industries are textiles, cars, book publishing, zinc, and limestone.Some famous companies are some music industries, and Great Smokey NationalPark.
