1. SYSTEM SHALL MEET OR EXCEED ANSI/AVIXA A102.01:2017 AUDIO COVERAGE
UNIFORMITY IN LISTENER AREAS FOR A COVERAGE ENVELOPE OF 12dB
MEASURED OVER 6 OCTAVES CENTERED AT 250HZ, 500HZ, 1000HZ, 2000HZ,
4000HZ AND 8000HZ. THE "LISTENER AREAS" ARE LOOSELY DEFINED AS ALL
PUBLIC AREAS IN THE BUILDING.
2. SYSTEM SHALL BE CAPABLE OF EXCEEDING AMBIENT NOISE LEVEL BY 15 dB AT
EACH OCTAVE TESTED.
3. RECOMMENDED HEADEND IS QSYS CORE 110f TO ALLOW FOR A VARIETY OF
PAGING FUNCTIONALITY INCLUDING LIVE PAGING, ZONING, SCHEDULED
MESSAGES AND OTHER ADVANCED PROGRAMMING FEATURES.
4. K2 EXPECTS ALL LOUDSPEAKERS TO BE IN A SINGLE ZONE. VERIFY WITH OWNER
AT TIME OF BID.
5. CONTRATOR SHALL TAP LOUDSPEAKERS TO ENSURE APPROPRIATE LEVEL FOR
THE SPACE IN WHICH EACH LOUDSPEAKERS IS LOCATED. E.G. A RESTROOM
WITH LOW AMBIENT NOISE LEVELS WILL BE TAPPED MUCH LOWER THAN A
COMPARABLE LOUDSPEAKER IN A BUSY CIRCULATION AREA. STRIVING TO
EXCEED AMBIENT NOISE LEVEL BY 15-20dB WILL REDUCE THE LIKELIHOOD OF
STARTLING OCCUPANTS.
