The TT Hydraulic Pipe Cutter fea-tures extremely durable cutting knives dressed with a variety of cutting structures. The amount of hydraulic pressure required to open theknivescanberesetinthefieldin a matter of minutes. The TT Hydraulic Pipe Cutter is designed to be run with the Smith Services SmithDril™ Mud Motor. A pressure indicator, or Flo-Tel® device on sur-face tells the supervisor when the knives are fully deployed, signaling that the cut has been completed.

The tool incorporates three knives dressed with specially designed Millmaster® tungsten carbide in-serts to engage and quickly sever tubing or drill pipe. The knife de-sign produces lower point loading across the cutting surface, result-ing in longer life and the durability to complete operations in a single run.

Knife blades can be changed on the rig, permitting multiple cuts and al-lowing the tool to be customized for cutting varying tubular sizes.

The TT Hydraulic Pipe Cutter can be run on either coiled tubing or joint-ed pipe. When deployed on coiled tubing, an anchoring system, sta-bilizer, and SmithDril Motor can be incorporatedtoensureefficientop-eration.

"T" Series MillThe “T” Series Mill combines low weight and low torque requirements with Mill-master® carbide insert technology for superior performance in thru-tubing operations. The “T” Series Mill is used in conjunction with the SmithDril™ Mo-tor to mill plugs, scale and debris, with a range of cutting matrices suited to each application. The “T” Series Mill is available in a range of sizes, from 1 ¾ inches and larger.

Features and BenefitsMillmaster • carbide insert technol-ogy for optimized performanceStrategicallyplacedfluidports•

Applications Cement/scale milling•Plug milling•Junk milling/debris retrieval•

The “T” Series DOG Sub utilizes a short body design and a wear-re-sistant cutting structure to deliver performancebenefits in coiled tub-ing and TTRD reaming and milling applications. Synthetic diamond enhanced inserts (DEI) provide the abrasion resistant reaming element housed in a tool short enough to run between the mill or rock bit and the mud motor.

The “T” Series DOG Sub actively en-gages residual cement and scale in cleanout operations or the hole wall in drilling applications, leaving a full gauge wellbore. The additional wall contact provides near-mill stabiliza-tion, which can improve the perfor-mance of both the mud motor and the mill.

Features and BenefitsDEI inserts provide maximum •wear resistanceInserts will not damage casing•Stabilizing effect improves both •mill and motor performance

ApplicationsCement and scale removal using •coiled tubingWell deepening operations•Sidetracking operations•

Stage Mills are specifically de-signed for profile enlargement, mechanical scale removal and opening other restrictions. Stage Mills can be cost-effectively used to increase the inside diameter of flow control equipment such asseating nipples and no-gos. Stage Mills are available in sizes from 1 ¾ inch and larger.

Dual Circulating SubThe Dual Circulating Sub is designed to extend the life of downhole mud motors and other downhole tools by diverting mud circulation away from the components. Activated by drop-ping a ball, the Dual Circulating Sub prevents actuation of circulation-driven equipment during extend-ed periods of pumping. The sub is equipped with a rupture disc so that in the event of a downhole restric-tion preventing drop ball actuation, pressure can be applied to burst the disc and resume circulation to an-nulus.

Features and BenefitsBlocks fluid flow to the motor, •preventing operationBall drop actuation•Rupture disc that can be preset •for 3,000, 5,000 or 6,000 psi

Applications Preventing downhole tool wear •in installations where extended circulation is necessaryAllows increased annular veloci-•ties following clean-out opera-tionsEnablesincreasedfluidvolumes•to be pumped into the annulus during wellbore clean-out op-erationsFacilitates pumping of nitrogen •intothewellboreforfluidevacu-ation

Venturi Jet BasketThe Venturi Jet Basket retrieves gun debris, metal and any other loose obstructions. Fluid pumped down the work string is diverted through a jet nozzle in the up-per section, creating a vacuum-like effect in the lower chamber, sucking in debris and trapping it above cages in the lower sub. Fluidisthenfilteredthroughthesub and returned to the annulus.

The Push-Pull Anchoring Tool utilizes hydraulic pressure to deliver controlled push or pull stroke force to free objects lodged in casing, such as stuck or inoperable equipment. A se-ries of hydraulic pistons anchor the tool in the casing; once an-chored, pressure is converted intomechanicalforcesufficientto free stubborn obstructions. A pressure bleed-off system is incorporated into the tool to prevent unexpected or unwant-ed hydraulic pressure accumu-lation, enhancing operational safety. The Push-Pull Anchoring Tool is available in 2.7 inch and 3.5 inch OD sizes.

The Heavy Duty Hydraulic Discon-nect provides a predetermined release point in a bottom hole assembly. The disconnect withstands extreme tor-sional and tensile loads exerted during jarring and underreaming, making the tool a key component in demanding thru-tubing applications.

The disconnect is actuated by drop-ping a ball, actuating an internal pis-ton at a predetermined pressure. This allows the assembly to separate, leav-ing the lower section of the tool down-hole. The top of the remaining dis-connect is equipped with an internal andexternalfishingprofile for futureease of retrieval. Circulation ports are opened upon disconnection, producing a pressure drop at surface, providing the operator with an indication that disconnection has been successfully completed.
