Taiwanese parents do not allow their kids to leave some food in the bowls because if their kids do not finish the food, their kids may marry ugly couples in the future.

The second cultural taboos

For the newly wedding couples, they can not go to someone’s wedding ceremony within four months. This may prevent someone to take away their good luck.

The third cultural taboos

Do not live on the fourth floor since the sound of number four is similar to the pronunciation of death in Chinese.

THE FOURTH TABOOS

Parents do not allow their kids to go to the beach in July because the ghost month is in July. Parents may be afraid that their kids will be taken by the ghost spirits at the beach.

The fifth cultural taboos

Do not make any sound while eating. Parents will not allow their kids to hit the bowl soup with chopsticks. If the kids do this way, they may become a beggar in the next life.
