Izhar continued

It is called Izhar Halqy

◦ PHARYNGEAL (THROAT) CONSONANTS

No stress on letters

Izhar obligatory because its letters are far away from makhraj of Noon Sakinah wa Atanween

Izhar can be in the middle of a word or two words following each other

Meaning: assimilation of one letter into another

Letters: 6 letters gathered in the word “YARMLON”

Meaning: Converting Noon Sakinah or Tanween to light meem with Ghunnah and Ikhfaa

Letters: 1 letter only

Meaning: Hiding the Noon Sakinah and Tanween with ghunah but without stress

It is called true Ikhfaa (Haqeeqy (حقيقي
