Intention:What is the intention with the session?What is the overall purpose of being together?

Desired Outcome:What do you concretely wish for the participants to take with them?What have you achieved by the end of the session?

Agenda:What is the program of the day?Which themes/exercises are we going to go through?

Rules and Roles:What is our rules for the session?How should the participants work together?Which tasks/roles are to be fulfilled and by who?

Time:What is the timeframe?Will their be breaks?

Check in & check outShow the two circles - clockwise and pop corn style

Check in examples:What is your expectations for the day?What would you like to get out of the day?What will you contribute with?

Check out examples:What will you take with you from the session?What is the most important insight you got?What did you learn?

Rules:One speaker at the time The speaker should not be interrupted or ques-tioned.The check in/check out can go from participant to participant clockwise or “pop corn style.A check in/out is done when the speaker has said “I check in/out

A powerful question can look very different. To be powerful it often:Begins with an open question, ex: How, What, When, Where, Whom. Be careful with Why as it may sound accusing. Avoid questions that can be answered with yes/no.

Is preferably short, clear and precise. The power of the questions can be lost if it is too long.Creates new knowledge and insight for the focus person.Are curious, seeks new opportunities and looks ahead.Is asked from the NOW and what emerges in the conversation. Dont spend too much time thinking about the question.

Has the right timing (some questions can work in one context and not in another).

Drawing Faces - 40 min1. Paper and pen, draw each other, only look into each other’s eyes, write down a curious question. You get one minute per person, the write down Q. (first right, then left hand) (10 min)2. Exhibit on the wall. (20min)3. Pick one question to answer (if many par-ticipants share in groups - time).

Reflection with group:How did you experience it? How was it to look in each other’s eyes? Activates your different senses and make you connect with each other in an intimate and curious way.
